DJs are really just teenage girls with too much money
Face it. You DJs are teenage girls. All you want to do is sit around on the floor of your bedroom with each other listening to music and arguing about what musician is cuter. Sometimes you get into angry pillow fights. Occasionally a boy will ask you out and you will get to show off in public and then you have to go back to your bedroom with the pink frilly ruffles on the bedspread. You badmouth each other behind each other's back and you are way too concerned with what boys think of you.

Only if there's a camera around an only if there's cheesy porn music playing in the background.julius wrote:Sometimes you get into angry pillow fights.

Hey! I thought you didn't make it to Seattle this weekendjulius wrote:Face it. You DJs are teenage girls. Guilty as charged - I certainly felt like a teenager all weekend; there was a high concentration of DJ's in Seattle for Jitterbug Weekend and it made me go all silly - to the point of staying up way too late every night and hanging out in front of the 7/11 smoking and drinking.......
I also picked out a song for every DJ who was at my set....nothing like a little buttering up to make them think you are good

which reminds me of another conversation this weekend - what exactly was Duke and Billy Strayhorn's relationship? That's a pajama party topic if I ever heard one

Oh, and not all DJs have too much money, some of us like to spend our student loans on music when we should be putting the money towards things like food.
