I admit, I was skeptical, but that was *great*.
I'll play it at a dance this Friday.

Love it!
Postmodern Jukebox just released a great album btw (check the versions of 'Wake me up' and 'Just Dance')

Here's the rule folks: You can DJ it once, but then that's it

Re: Guns and Roses cover
I agree! I recently met a DJ who still plays 'Candyman'

Re: Guns and Roses cover
So you are able to pass it to Mark Kihara for Bad Music Night at Herrang.trev wrote:Here's the rule folks: You can DJ it once, but then that's it

Great version indeed! Ms. Miche Braden belts out those vocals - and that was her first take! I have been loving the recent covers by Scott Bradlee & Post Modern Jukebox. In fact I interviewed Scott for the most recent March episode of my Hey Mister Jesse podcast.

You're all grumpy old (wo)men. This isn't for Bad Music Night. That vocalist's got chops and it actually swings. I could do without the "guitar intro" in the middle, but I may just edit that out.
For the record: I did play it Friday, and people enjoyed it. Several didn't realize what it was until a minute or two in, which suggests that it's at least as good as swingy as the other garbage I played.
