Discographer Brian Rust has died - Age 88

Pioneering discographer Brian Rust died last night in his sleep.

The massive two volume "Jazz Records - 1897 - 1942" and "The American Dance Band Discography" were his two most famous and popular and most referenced works.
Will big bands ever come back?
