Slim pickings here...
the last 3 of these don't even have lyrics which you requested .. take your pick of 'Winter Weather' versions, there's a few out there. Also Fletcher Henderson has Freeze and Melt too on Classics. You may have to have Baby It's Cold Outside in your set after all
Winter Weather - Benny Goodman w/Peggy Lee - Classic 41-42
Winter Weather - Fats Waller - Classics 41
When Winter Comes - Artie Shaw - Classics 39 vol 2
The Rhythm of the Snowflakes - Dick Robertson & his Orchestra - New York Session Man
Alabammy Snow - Frankie Trumbauer - Classics 28-29
Freeze Out - Clarence Williams & his Orchestra - Classics 29-30
Freeze An' Melt - Eddie Lang - Classics 27-32

"from this era" and "non-massively famous" aren't exactly well defined, nor have you mentioned whether you only care about the lyrics or whether you want to DJ these for a room of dancers. Please try to be a little more specific.
Take a look at "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm". I like the Louis and Ella version from 1957, but there are many interpretations if you think that one is too well-known. Ella also recorded "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" in 1960, and I haven't heard it played much.

Not sure if this fits the bill, but there's a nice version of Winter Wonderland by Lew Stone - track 49 on this collection on eMusic -
