Dang, if only I had a few million dollars kicking around.
I recall our local community radio station used to have record sales and sold off most of their library several years ago, before I was collecting stuff myself. It's a shame seeing large collections broken up but hopefully most of his collection can find good homes with other collectors.
It's also sad seeing music fans getting out of the music business. I was sad to learn that Bud's Jazz Records in Seattle closed earlier this year as well. Just like many other bricks and mortar stores with knowledgeable music fans and collectors. The megastores and on-line sellers just aren't the same.

Is that the store that was on Jackson Street near King St Station? You had to go down steps from the street to get to the entrance door?

What a burden. 3 million records and most of them commonplace.
Only good if you want an archive and not a collection.
