Booty Call

Here's what we played:
1. Annie's Cousin Fannie - Mora's Modern Rhythmists
2. Shake Your Moneymaker - Elmore James
3. For Sale - Cast of Harlem Song
4. Fat-Bottomed Girls (Intro only) - Queen
5. Shake Shake Shake (Shake Your Booty) - KC & the Sunshine Band
6. Shake Your Tailfeather - Ray Charles
7. Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-a-Lot
I would have at least added Mighty Lester, but there was no way I could get the CD in time, & that particular song is not in itunes. Still, it's now on my wishlist. What a great band!
I had a ton of fun, but looking back, I think it's hard to pull off this kind of theme in broad daylight. I wanted to play more of the house/hip hop songs, but most of the dancers would have been lost. The Hokey Pokey is more LitP speed. I think I had more fun doing the research than playing the actual songs! And now I have quite a stockpile to slip in, when I'm in the mood.
Thank you all so much for the great suggestions.
