Big Apple Song

Can you guys hep me out with the name of the song whitey's lindy hopper's do the Big Apple to in teh film Keep Punching.. or maybe give me some ideas as to what songs or tempo to use... also i am currently using napster to get my music.. can you reccomend a different sight with a better selection of good swing music

While no definitive answer was given, you might want to check out the prior thread about Keep Punchin for more information.

And here is definitely a site with a better selection of swing music. ;)

Whoah!! Thanks for your help fellas... Now one more question, is there a thread that has some playlists of lindy hop music... I am a new DJ trying to give my scene some better Hop music than... Neo Swing... And the Infamous Glen.... Can you help a brotha out??

That's pretty much what this entire website is about: Lindy Hop DJs posting about the music they love playing for Lindy Hoppers. Just dig in, and you'll find more recommendations than you can handle.

The Yehoodi Radio Show thread might be a good place.

We still use Fletcher Henderson's version of Christopher Columbus for the Big Apple. It fits just about perfectly.
