Indeed... except i can't afford to buy a macmark0tz wrote:Yea seriously... at 1/15th the cost. BPM Studio is outrageously priced for what it can do.GemZombie wrote:That app looks alot like BPM Studio.... and you're right, it looks like *the* app to use on a mac. I'm tempted to borrow my friends mac and try it out.

And winamp sucks for DJ Software.
But on that note, as much as I like BPM Studio the price is just out of hand in my opinion. So I've downloaded a copy of PCDJ Rec VRM demo. I would like to know if anyone is using that, and if they have any tricks/techniques and advice on how best to use it.
BPM Studio seems to be easier to use, but I think PCDJ might support most of the features I need.
I've only played with it for about 10 minutes so far, but here are some questions/issues that maybe someone can help me with.
- I Couldn't get it to save BPM's, or even detect BPMS.
- The crossfading for automatic playing is configurable, but not easily, and couldn't tell if it was configurable per song?
- Where are cuepoints stored?
- How do i change teh sidebar font (could change the waitlist font, but not the other)
- Pricewise, is there any reason i should by PCDJ Red VRM over PCDJ Red if i'm only going to be djing swing stuff?
Any other advice... i'm seriously considering switching, and recommending a cheaper alternative to other people, but only if it turns out to be a good product.
