The SEALX team has solidified live music for every single night of the exchange and has added a new venue -- the beautiful and historic Washington Hall. The Washington Hall was built in 1908 and during the jazz era featured greats such as Billie Holiday, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. Venues simply don't get better than the Washington Hall and the Century Ballroom!

We're excited to bring MESCHIYA LAKE & HER LITTLE BIG HORNS, GLENN CRYTZER & HIS SYNCOPATORS, SOLOMON DOUGLAS SWINGTET, THE CARELESS LOVERS and an all-star trad jazz combo featuring DAN BARRETT, EVAN ARNTZEN and SIMON STRIBLING!

Registration is not open yet, but it will be soon! Keep your eyes glued to Facebook for the update on when registration goes live! This year we're offering pricing tiers, so register EARLY to get the best price break!

Savoy Swing Club Discount ($50) - 25 tickets total. For information on SSC, visit www.savoyswing.org.

Early Registration ticket break points:
First 25 passes : $50 each
26-75 : $60 each
76-125 : $70 each
126+ : $85 each

Tickets for the dances will be available at the door, though capacity is limited. Paying for each dance individually will cost over $100, so be sure to register for the full weekend and save yourself some $$!

It's a beautiful sunny day in Seattle today! Makes me excited for the Westlake Park Jam on Sunday of the exchange (Aug 14). Some of my favorite memories of exchanges past have been sipping an iced americano at Westlake, listening to amazing jazz music and watching the die-hards swing out on concrete.

Late-night dance @ Washington Dance Club (1017 Stewart St), 1am-5am
Dancing and snacks to the Careless Lovers and our finest DJs.

Daytime Picnic @ Cal Anderson Park (E. Pine and 11th), 2pm-4pm
Potluck style picnic!

Evening Dance @ Washington Hall (153 14th Ave), 8pm-12am
Glenn Crytzer and his Syncopators with Meschiya Lake

Late-night dance @ Washington Dance Club (1017 Stewart St), 1am-5am
Meschiya Lake and the Lil’ Big Horns followed by Seattle DJs!

Free to the public, encourage your friends to come hear some amazing live music!

Late-night Dance @ the Century Ballroom, 12:30am-3am
Wind it down with our amazing local DJs.


FUN THINGS TO DO IN SEATTLE: Summers in Seattle are amazing. There’s so much to see and do, and with the laid-back atmosphere of the exchange there’s plenty of time to be a tourist during the days. (Or stay a little longer to check out the city!) Go vintage shopping or coffee “cupping” (tasting). Check out some of the local art galleries, SAM or the Asian Art Museum. Stop by the aquarium or the zoo! Try an Underground Tour or explore Pike Place Market! Get those obligatory photos in front of the Space Needle!
