Port Of Harlem Jazzmen on Mosaic...

#1 Post by AlekseyKosygin » Wed Dec 10, 2003 5:20 pm

Does anyone know what the track listing is for that now out of print Mosaic LP? It's called Complete Recordings...I want to know whether it has any songs that are not on the Blue Note reissue...Thanks...

it's not to me. i think i paid $15 for copy #1939/5000 (they're hand numbered) in NM off of ebay. Mosaic has built "collector mania" into their LP releases by virtue of limiting the number of copies. it's really only worth that to collectors. _d

That's true, but I don't necessarily purchase only albums that aren't available on CD - to me that's just a bonus - just like I don't just buy music that's danceable.

Or were you just responding to the original question? _d

ok, so you spent $50 on an LP with songs that you can get on inexpensive CDs?

Ok... :?
