The only two tracks I have with lyrics in Chinese, both in a mix of Mandarin and English, are two versions of "I Want You to Be My Baby" (translated as "我要你的爱"/"Wo yao ni de ai"/"I want your love"): one is the Grace Chang 1957 recording, the other is a 2000 cover with rather more questionable pronunciation by Pepe & the Bottle Blondes (it's on "Latenight Betty").

Very few things with lyrics that mention China in some way and that are *not* horribly dated and offensive.

There are some instrumental things, but most dancers won't notice they're China-related:
"China Boy", any of dozens of blazingly fast versions
"Chinatown, My Chinatown", same
"Shanghai Shuffle", Fletcher Henderson or Tommy Ladnier

But how about dog-themed tracks for 2018? Again, I can think mostly of instrumentals, I'm afraid:
"Yellow Dog Blues", Cat Anderson, 1977, on "Plays WC Handy"
"Yellow Dog Blues", Turk Murphy, ?, "Jazz Band Ball"
"Doggin' Around", Count Basie, 1938, on "The Complete Decca Recordings"
"Walkin' the Dog", Edmond Hall, 1944, on "1941-1957"

Oh, here are two with lyrics:
"Walkin' the Dog", Midge Williams Jazz Jesters, 1937, on "Complete Midge Williams Vol 1"
"Salty Dog", Sidney Bechet Blue Note Jazzmen, 1945, "The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Sidney Bechet"

And there are of course lots of other songs that happen to mention a dog. "You, Rascal, You" usually does, for instance.

Let me suggest two songs by modern bands:
- "Dance Age" by The Muddy Basin Ramblers - Dance Age
- "If You Love Me, Raise Your Hand" by Karen Mok - It Is Karen Mok (featured in the I Charleston Taipei video)

Hope that helps!

Jesse

PS. Lunar New Year is not solely celebrated by the Chinese, so you might want to expand your language scope for songs...
