Creepy Jazz songs

#1 Post by tomality » Sun Jun 08, 2014 2:05 pm

Hey all ye swinging Dj's,
I have a question - Does anyone know of any creepy Jazz songs?
I am putting together something for Halloween this year and am looking for some songs that have a haunting undertone, perhaps slightly bluesy(but still swings) and not too fast.
Any suggestions welcome!
Cheers!

Why are those creepy. GAL has a kinda mystical sound, but BIZET? I only know the classical versions and the Les Brown version.

How about a creepy "Night On Bald Mountain"?

How about a little St James Infirmary with Cab Calloway and... Betty Boop?
