I've Found a New Baby with vocals...
All I have is an Alphonso Trent and a Bunny Berigan version and the Berigan version more of a vocal group version, not quite what I'm looking for...anyone have any good vocal versions of this song?
I'm not sure whether it's what you're looking for, but Kenny Clarke has a nice version from 1938 on this CD -

It's also on this CD -

Unfortunately, neither of these samples has any singing, but there is some on the track!

Nat King Cole & Frank Sinatra - I've Found a Brand New Baby - The Magic of Nat King Cole (available on Emusic.)
It's a live recording with Frankie on the vocal. The song has a fast instrumental section in the middle, which together with the live recording quality makes it not so great for dancing--maybe as an occasional novelty novelty.

I have a fun McKinney's Cotton Picker's version (1929) which has vocals (from the Document CD I think... don't have CDs near me for details, sorry; just seen that it's on the Bluebird 'The Band Don Redman Built' and the 'Zonky' (Living Era) CDs as well).
I've heard a Loose Marbles version which has vocals. It's sweet.
The Firecracker Jazz Band have a top version with vocals (on 'The Firecracker Jazz Band' CD).
All of these are fast and hot. Which can't be a bad thing.

The lyrics on this song seem to be just one verse, along these lines:

Many of the recorded versions seem to have either no vocals or very brief vocals.

here's a sweet video with Eva Taylor singing vocals to New Baby. not what you're looking for probably, but still worth listening to.
