It's called the "Complete Jazz Series" and there are already 78! albums of classic jazz available. The quality is average but useful enough.
that link doesn't work for me. some digging in google revealed why: not available for download in the u.s. :o(
maybe it's a chrono re-release. do they have a three peppers album? what about willie bryant? those are two chronos i would really like to find (for, you know, not $70).

They are indeed exact copies of the Chrono(lo)gical Classics discs. They have not tinkered with the sound, which is good. Let's hope they put the whole series out on eMusic (they don't have Bryant and Peppers out yet).
By the way, I no longer dj any tracks off the Willie Bryant chrono disc (legally purchased). I prefer a rip of the Bluebird LP I found on the web. Vinyl noise, yes, but overall much richer sound.

Great stuff. I have picked up the Lil Hardin Armstrong so far. At this rate will have to bump up my subscription.
They appear to be releasing them in alphabetical order so maybe a wait for Three Peppers.
ps this is revenge for all the non-US peoples that can't access the Amazon tracks.
pss other great stuff on eMusic these days - I picked up the latest Duhks album as well (great Canadian folk band that I caught here in Canberra last year)

Actually, I've just found I can now download Amazon MP3s here in the UK - it might be worth checking with Amazon.

Same issue with UK Amazon as with USA Amazon - downloads restricted to either UK or USA. Need an Australian Amazon
and yes the Willie Bryant is there - same track listing as the CC 1935-1936 (though with the wrong album cover)

Ah, yes indeed they do seem to be adding the entire Classics discography in alphabetical order: 193 releases and they are only up to C!
I just picked up Boots & His Buddies. Hmm, maybe it
is time to up the subscription

Ok, this is a dumb question, but I want to be clear (because I'm about to go nuts with the emusicing):
When you're talking "Complete Jazz Series [Chrono(lo)gical Classics]"
you mean the albums that look like this:
?
If so, I think I'm about to lose control. My credit card will self destruct.
