Excellent song by an obscure band on Victor from 1936 which would likely be fine for Shag.
Happy, bouncy number.
One of those songs from a year where they did not seem able to write bad songs.
Does anyone know if it has been reissued on CD? I had the 78rpm, but I have never seen it reissued anywhere.
*It's better than the Charlie Barnet version.

Here it is on eBay for 3 dollars, plus 7 dollars shipping priority. Could be better condition.
Victor 25401. The B side is Make Believe Ballroom, which, is good, but not as good as SBS.
If this record was in better shape, the label and the disc would have a nice gloss to them. It does have the original scroll label motif which is sought after by collectors. Looks like Ruby Newman was recording for Victor in 1936 and 1937.

Amen, YouTube.
The poster over-modulated the recording, but at least you can hear it. 1936 was such great year for Jazz, Swing and Pop music!
