I would check it out.

I have an old vitaphone movie from the 1930s of an all kazoo band. It is pretty funny to watch and hear. For the life of me I can't recall the group.

We have a swing band in Austin that busts out the kazoos from time to time.

I have this CD called "Washboard Story" that has at least one song with an awesome kazoo solo. I even played it at a dance one time, and it went over really well.

oh, they are definitely cute, no question about that.
that dude in the middle... what's his secret?
you should download their version of "tequilla"... you could sorta groove lindy to it. the group has good rhythm.

Kazoos are not all bad. Let's not forget the Mound City Blue Blowers. Comb & tissue, too.

I must admit I once played a kazoo with a band one night in San Jose. I was there on a business trip and after many Adult Beverages we went to a club with a live band. In my intoxicated state, I had become facinated by one of my business associates Kazoo that she happened to have in her handbag. I was playing along with the band while in my seat when I suppose they had had enough of my 'noise' and asked me up on stage to play with the band. I played with them for one song "Hey Good Looking" including a rousing Kazoo solo. The only time i can remember ever playing a 'musical instrument" with a band.

Although I do think I was better than these girls. I played the Kazoo more like a harmonica, cupping my hands to create a "Wah Wah" sound. But then again, I was drunk at the time.....
