I'm probably buying 20 or so to sell at home and when I travel. It's not a money thing, it's more about getting the music out there.
Hey, my e-mail's changed, here's the new one:

I played Blue Mance during the Saturday afternoon dance at SOFLEX last weekend to good effect. The floor was filled with dancers, as apposed to a hot jazz Charleston number I played (Dippermouth Blues), which did not do so well. That kinda surprised me. Now that I think of it, I saw very little charleston going on all weekend. It makes me wonder if Charleston dancing is waning in the Lindy Hop community, or if it was just that particular group of dancers.

Seriously though, it's just that particular group of dancers. Dippermouth Blues at an event like Showdown or Rhythm Arts Fest would have had the floor full, even at late night. Also, Dippermouth Blues and Sugarfoot Stomp are essentially the same song, the latter being the theme and name of our venue out here on Monday nights, which has been well supported since we opened.
