It seems like sometimes it takes forever to clear the floor after a dance because people love to talk, bla bla bla.
A while ago we were trying to clear everybody out since the person who had to lock up needed to be up early; I started playing more and more obscure songs, it finally took some ABBA to clear the room.

Believe it or not, some people can get numb to the racket of "Metal Machine Music" after a few minutes and others just find it annoying. What's missing is screaming tuneless vocals, and no one was more tuneless than Test Dept. I think any cut off of "Beating a Retreat" would make it clear that the evening has come to an end.
