The
California Historical Jazz Dance Foundation and
JiveJunction.com are proud to present the first track off of the forthcoming CD, "Live at the Lindy Binge," by none other than those masters of great jazz music, all legends in their own right, collectively called The Dream Team. From fast barn burners like "I Got Rhythm" to the slow hard groove of "Buddy Bolden's Blues," The Dream Team took their unique sound and made each song their own for a once-in-a-lifetime event that proved that great swing music and great swing dancing are still alive and are still capable of kicking your ass. If you were able to attend the Binge, then you remember how amazing this band was - and if you missed it, then it's time to start being jealous.
Click on the link below to download "Diga Diga Doo," the opening track from the album "Live at the Lindy Binge," coming soon!
The first track, "Diga Diga Doo," now available free - Click here

If you do not buy this CD when it comes out, I think you should question whether or not you are a "swing DJ."
-Jeremy
It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

Why? The term swing is so broad. I mean Christ, Ron is a "swing DJ."

The band was awesome, and anyone who doesn't agree with my opinion is a fool, and thus, probably not a "swing DJ." It's completely logical.

Wasn't trying to insult you, but if you want to take it as an insult be my guest.

I don't get it.
It's similar in that it has neither a shuffle rhythm or a walking bass line.
:)
(actually, having been there, I feel the lindy in it, early lindy, but lindy.. I wonder if, hearing only the mp3, I would have also thought it too 20's sounding..)

"soon" apparently means "eight months from now".
a positively geologic sense of time.
