It seems to do it regularly. Been like that for years.

There is a flaw in the version discussion board software we are currently running that gets overwhelmed when too many 'bots try to visit & register for the site. The bad news is that it temporarily makes the site inaccessible until I manually fix reset the site. The good news is that the 'bots are unable to register for the site and post their spam, keeping the board 100% spam-free when up and running.

When I have some time (the challenging part!), I will be upgrading the discussion board to the latest version of the software. This is a significant upgrade, so I need to put aside the necessary time and coordinate with my tech guru to assist in the process. I will try to get to it sooner than later as I agree that it is annoying when the site is inaccessible.

My apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you all for continuing to support swingdjs.com and keeping it a thriving discussion about the swinging music we love playing for dancers.

The site has been upgraded to the latest version of the discussion software and hopefully the update has resolved the issue that was bringing down the site frequently. Thanks for being patient while the problem was solved.

Here's to more consistent up-time moving forward!

Forgot to say it earlier, but thanks for all your work on this site Jesse.

Although the group of active users is relatively small, I find it invaluable to have a forum where we can get together, share and learn about the music we are all passionate about.

Big thanks!

Though I approve of the sentiment, I must point out that you wanted "Hear, hear!".
