How to do a search of a phrase

#1 Post by CountBasi » Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:08 am

I would like to know how to search the forum messages for the occurence of a song title, let's say 'West End Blues'. If I type in

"West End Blues"

... including those quote marks, it doesn't just bring back results with that in but also messages with just 'West' in and 'End' and 'Blues'.

I don't think

West AND End AND Blues

..works either :(

I've asked the same question in the past, and I don't think the software lets you search for a phrase. All you can do is experiment with the search options available.

You can do it with an advanced search of Google. Just quote the term, and set the domain to swingdjs.com.

I tried it, and a search on "West End Blues" gives this result.

The hidden wonders of Google - thanks Matthew :)
