DJ burn out

#1 Post by Roy » Sun Nov 21, 2004 10:08 am

Do you get burned out on DJing? I have been burned out twice each for about a 6 month period, and then came back really enjoying it again. Both times seem to be when I got tired of my own music. Coming back was when I discovered lots of cool new stuff to play. The last burn out time was basicly the past 6 months.

I've never experienced this on a 6 month scale. I do sometimes get into a rut for maybe a week or two or three where either I just can't click with the audience or I don't think my DJing is as good as it could/should be.

Hell, I've DJed so little since May that I can barely remember my collection.
