Thank you all for your advice on the eve of DJing my first exchange. After much work and dancing, SoFlex 2004 is finally over.

It was an absolute blast! :)

My first set was on Thursday and of course we started late, which added to the butterflies. After about 30 minutes I was able to calm down and have a good time. Luckily, that good time extended to the whole weekend, and I was really happy with most of the sets I did.

I think my learning curve jumped up a bit and hopefully I've become more confident and "leveled up" as DJ, to use geeky roleplaying terminology. :)

Thanks again for the advice, stories and the like.

You did a great job if I didn't know otherwise I would have thought it was old hat for you to dj at lindy exchanges.
