Curious about preference for DJ'ing or dancing...which would you choose if you could only choose one (not for a night...forever)

i was just curious about some of y'all...it's hard to tell how much passion there is for the dance sometimes. but the passion for good music is clear!

as it's been implied in other threads, it's doubtful you can be a good swing dj without being a competent dancer. You need to have some idea of what style will fit the music and whether you yourself enjoy dancing to the song.

I Dj'ed Monday with a friend of mine who has similar musical tastes; he spun one song which I've played a lot; I found that when dancing to it I didn't care for it as much as I did listening to it; so I probably will take it off my current playlist.

I would give up DJing in a heartbeat...but on one condition: that there was always good music to dance to.
