Best way of catalog all the music...

#1 Post by Juani » Sat Nov 19, 2005 9:09 pm

Hi, I'm Juani, from Buenos Aires...and yeah, I'm a newbie.

I'm trying to find the best way to catalog, put all my stuff in the right place and at the same time keep all the music easy to find in my collection.

What method do you use?

Thanks in advance.

Juani.

There is a thread in here somewhere where this was discussed at great length. I think alphabetical won out.

I keep mine quasi chronological with certain sections genre specific. I'm still on CDs and have one big 200 CD book I Dj out of - just flip back and forth in the sections.

I'm starting to think about what I will do once I move to a laptop, I keep spending money on other things but will probably switch over in 6 mos or so.

That would probably be the How do you organize your Music? thread.
