Come on out to Texas and I'll show you what I mean by choreographed moves. I'm not talking about a piece for performances or for a given piece of music, I'm talking about people specifically developing "too cute" lesson plans and passing them off to their students. The sequences are so obvious and cheesy that you can tell from the prep what's going to happen (and who taught them) every single time.

Lindy Hop choreography was innovative and lively. This shit ain't. Technically, even a swingout is a choreographed move. Someone set up the pattern and its execution, so yeah I guess it qualifies. I have not studied tango in a few years but I see more influences from tango in blues dancing and very few in Lindy. Frankie had a couple of tango-themed moves that I've learned (2 or 3) over the years but still very Frankiesque.

Shout Out: Laura Malloy steady rocks. And she's hot.
