gemini stuff is so badly made it's practically disposable..

Numark has one for 500.. I played around with their 300 dual cd player, and I was really impressed with how much better the build quality was from 2 yrs ago..

What I want is a pair of these:

I can't read the model# on that Denon - what is it?

Pioneer now has the DMP-555 which plays CDs and MP3 CDs and has an SD slot that you can play MP3s from as well. Pretty slick if you don't want to burn an entire CD to try out a few songs.

I LOVE NUMARK - and Gemini IS total crap. It's kind of the Yugo of dj equipment.

It's a dn-s5000, which might not actually play mp3s.. but.. it can play two tracks at once! you can take a cd out and it'll keep playing for 45 seconds while you put another one in.. and the platter on top spins at 35 rpm, fer scratchin on..wikky wikky.

I think their top of the line double cd player can play mp3s.. and do a lot of the same stufff.. but it doesn't have the cool spinning platter..
