Hello all.
It's the fisrt time I post here. Sorry for my poor english, but it's not my mother language.

I would like to know which software you use, for DJing and to work the music.

I'm on Ubuntu Linux and I use two software.

Mixxx
https://www.mixxx.org/
I always use Mixxx for DJing and preparing playlist before the party. It records history of each run. I use an external USB sound board in order to pre-listen during party.
It does all I need, and a lot more that I do not use.

Quod Libet
https://quodlibet.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
I work the tracks to set/correct all mp3 tag, remane the files, record the cover into the mp3 file. I put music during dance classes and free listen music.
Because my music organisation I use its very power full combining search and something similare of smart playlist in iTunes.

And you, what do you use ?

I work almost exclusively with JRiver Media Center and have been using it for years. The smart library management features are a big draw for me, though as with all things there's a bit of a learning curve. Multi-zone playback also lets me cue up songs on one zone and play to speakers on another. I don't have the crossfade-across-zones ability like more traditional dj software, but I've never had a need for that.

I've been using Mixxx 1.11 for quite a while now both for dances and radio. Tried 2, found it buggy in a disruptive way, I see there's a new version in the pipeline so I'll revisit it once that reaches final release. The only feature I'd really like is to tell the auto DJ to pause after a certain track or even just at the end of the current track although that's not something I'd use as often at dance gigs.

The future new release 2.1 is very useful.
The new Tango Skin allows to hide a lot of controls that I do not use for Swing DJ'ing.
