Two Local DJs Use Antique Technology to Help Preserve the Music of a Bygone Era
"If the father and son ever sat down to listen to Michael Cumella, known as "Mac" on his weekly WFMU radio show "Antique Phonograph Music Program," their curiosity would be resolved: Rather than work from second-hand sources (such as CD and LP reissues) Mr. Cumella plays his selections directly on actual historical equipment: wax cylinder and disc machines from the turn of the previous century."
