iPods/ MP3 Players

#1 Post by Lindy Babe » Fri Nov 19, 2010 10:00 am

I’m in the market for a new iPod or MP3 player. This would be the first one I have owned and I want it to do all a that I need it to do. I would mostly be using it to back up my music, listen to podcasts & audio books, as the main music device for teaching dance classes and as an emergency DJing tool. Below are the specific requirements I could think of right now. I’m not super tech nerdy, although me an modern technology get along just fine, so if there is something technically that I’ve missed that I should consider please let me know.

•Price ideally would be under $100 although I could pay up to $200 for the right equipment.
•Has the ability to store playlists and preferably also the ability to easily create and manipulate playlists.
•Easy to use search functions for finding songs on the fly
•Easy to use sync program for music and podcast transfers
•Good sound quality when connected to different sound systems
•Decent storage capacity
•Durable with good battery life
