I bought the Express to allow others and myself to connect easily (I don't want to have to keep on resetting my network settings from wifi to bridge and back ... plus it allows others to connect to the output without connecting to my computer) and it allows me to have a convenient audio output not on my PC.

I tried out using Remote to control the music for teaching classes last night. It worked pretty well. A couple of teething problems in starting up a new song while searching through looking for the next song (the touch screen is sensitive). Also I put the iPhone in my pocket while dancing and once it reset the song - might have to lock the screen while dancing.
Overall a pretty positive experience and a lot more versatile than the previous physical remote I used.
