dual output on Intel macs

#1 Post by Bronwyn » Fri May 11, 2007 9:17 am

Has anyone found a program that allows you to set the audio outputs on an Intel mac? I have a little USB adaptor so I can send audio out of that, but right now I can only output of the USB port or the built in port, not either.

I just got burned by some DJ software I tried... it would stop in the middle of a song, which happened while I was DJing a dance.. quite a nightmare!!! So i'm looking for something simple and Intel Mac comptable.

Thanks!

Stick XP on it using bootcamp and run two copies of winamp.

If you want an all apple solution, one of the airport versions contains an audio output which iTunes recognizes as a seperate audio device. With it you can do all of your DJing from iTunes.

Otherwise, off of the top of my head there are a few solutions posted in the laptop DJs thread you can find ...
