I have downloaded some CD from Emusic and then burned them onto CDR's. The problem I am running into is about a quarter of the CD's I have made sound like they were recorded underwater. They are completely garbled and unlistenable. I am using a 1 month old Dell Laptop to do the burning. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can stop wasting CDR's?

try different burning software... some have problems with VBR. I know my company's has a few issues that i'm trying to get fixed now.

i've been told Nero handles it pretty well.
