Hi all;
I'm currently looking into buying some recording equipement so I can do on the fly multichannel recordings with my band. Wouldn't necessarily be for a professional CD but to make some good demos. Don't want too much ambient hissing and don't mind if the instruments overlap a little as long as we can still adjust the levels a bit.
We have a tuba, guitar, and harmonic, all miced with vocals as well.
I found this - seems like it'll do the trick:

Anyone have any experience with this? It seems like it has the ability to use the computer as a mixer. Plus, could use it as a capture card which is pretty sweet. Also has 6 I/O which is about what we need.
Thanks!
