Thought you all might be interested in the fact that Oscar Brown Jr is gonna play a gig for Lindy Hoppers :) Here's the announcement...

Alright kids, all the details are finally in, and believe it or not, this is shaping up to be the best Philly Party yet :)

As you all already know, Feb 11-13 Paul & Sharon are scheduled to be our featured teachers for the weekend. 8 classes by them alone is worth the $99 weekend price.

In addition to Paul & Sharon, we are *very* honored and excited to announce that Oscar Brown, Jr will be performing for us Sat night. Oscar Brown Jr is truly a jazz legend, and you all know and love him already. He is the singer of such popular lindy tunes as Signifyin' Monkey, Dat Dere, Work Song, Hazel's Hips, and much more. This will be his first appearance playing for lindy hoppers (or lindy hoppers of our generation)

And you know how we normally kick things off Fri night? Well, the one and only Bill Borgida will be teaching some classes Fri night and a third class Sat night! Oh yeah, and George Gee's entire 17 piece big band will be our Friday night band!

And, true to the Philly Workshop vibe, there will be plenty of free pizza, sodas, smiles, and general warm fuzzies :). The cost is only $99 for all 11 classes by Paul and Sharon and BillBee and both nights of live top-rate music. We've sold out every year, and we expect this year to sell out even quicker, so if you know you're coming, for your sake, please don't wait to sign up (Greg and I hate every year having to say no to people who post on a thread early on that they're coming but then never get around to registering). To register, check out:

Let me know if you have any questions. See you all soon!!!
