Overview
Beantown has three options: choose either the weekend Mini-Camp, the week long Camp or both. The Camp is a great opportunity to enjoy a week taking classes with a truly outstanding world class line-up of instructors with limited track sizes for personal attention. The Mini-Camp is run in conjunction with the Northeast Lindy Hop Championships. It is a weekend packed with a big variety of workshops taught by national and international instructors, competitions and lots of social dancing. Whether you come to the Camp, the Mini-Camp, or both, you will be dancing day and night, socializing with dancers from around the world.

Beantown has a warm community feel, with all accommodation, meals, classes, dances and events located together on the beautiful Bryant College campus in Smithfield, Rhode Island. All of the dance spaces have air conditioning. The campus is conveniently located off of I-295 in Rhode Island, about 15 minutes from the Providence airport. It is about a one hour drive from Boston, Hartford and Mystic and about 3 hours from NYC. Included are camp events, presentations by special guests and surprises. Oh yes, and having FUN, FUN, FUN! Join us in our 8th year - you'll be glad you did!

Full Week Camp
Track instructors for the full week Beantown Camp include Ryan Francois & Jenny Thomas (England), Steven Mitchell & Virginie (CA), Sylvia Sykes & Jason Christodoulou (CA), Kenneth & Helena Norbelie (Sweden) and Eric "Floaty" Fenn (CA). DJs will once again be headed up by Jesse Miner, plus Jon Callahan and our own Dave Lasagna will be back to keep us entertained throughout the week. Features include special presentations, performances, Broadway Night, Funky Flower Party, Camp Barbecue and more.

Weekend Mini-Camp & Northeast Lindy Hop Championships
Instructors for the Mini-Camp include Sylvia Sykes & Jason Christodoulou (CA), Erik Robison & Sylvia Skylar (CA), Kenneth & Helena Norbelie (Sweden), Dan Amores & Caitlin George (Canada), Matt Bedell & Laura Jeffers (NY), Richard Badu & Dana Lapple (NC), Jon Callahan & Heather Ballew (CO), Joel Domoe & Melanie Myers (GA), Marty Klempner & Valerie Salstrom (OH), Agustin Ramos & Cassandra George (NY), Dorry Segev & Sommer Gentry (DC), Peter Strom (MN), Tony & Aurelie Tye (MA), Rayned Wiles & Jane Ford (MD) and Ben Yau & Sheri Kang (CA).
