DCLX registration opened yesterday at www.dclx.org! Registration is only $55. This year, DCLX WILL sell out. Pre-registration will gaurantee your entrance into all the dances, which otherwise may be closed to walk-ins. You can also pre-purchase a t-shirt for $10.
Main DJs so far include: Jerry Almonte, Alex Fajkowski, Mike Faltesek, Tricia Iveson, Mike Marcotte, Andy Reid, Matt Smiley, and Rayned Wiles. We're still waiting to hear from a few out-of-towners that are waiting on plane tickets....
We'd love to have you all there to dance and generally cause a wild ruckus.
Band/Dance line-up:
Thursday night dance to our fabulous DJs at the Jam Cellar (PSDC or Vienna Tap Room)! ($7 at the door or $5 for PSDC members. Cost not included in pre-registration.)
Friday night dance in the fabulous ballroom of the Ft Myer military base to The Boilermaker Jazz Band from Pittsburgh! www.boilermakerjazzband.com. Head next door for a break and have some food and drinks while you bowl a game or two, then come back for more dancing! After hours, it's a late night dance at the Virginia Ballroom for dancing until 5 am!
Saturday afternoon we dance in the sunshine at the National Zoo Bring your own picnic and dance with the pandas!
Saturday night it's The Brooks Tegler Big Band at the newly renovated Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom, then late night dancing all night long at Chevy Chase Ballroom!
Sunday afternoon we're at Dupont Circle for the third year in a row... dancing in the gorgeous DC spring sunshine in the middle of one of the trendiest parts of downtown Washington. This dance is historically a DCLX favorite. Even the cops got into it last year.
Sunday night we're at the Bumper Car pavilion at Glen Echo with Blue Sky Five, our hometown band, and then more dancing til you drop at our late night DJ dance at K2!
