LASTLY it gives me great pleasure to announce the 2008 Dancers Choice International Swing Hall of Fame award honories:

Shorty George Snowden Most notable POSTHUMOUS SWING CREATOR 2008 award: A deceased Master ('old timer') who danced in the 1920-1940's swing era.

Frankie Manning Most notable SWING CREATOR 2008: A living Master ('old timer') who danced in the 1920-1940's swing era documented in film, print... etc.

Jonathan Bixby & Sylvia Sykes Most notable COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR 2008: This can be any Joe or Jane Blow, to a historian, or to any organizer; it doesn't have to be a teacher or champion.

Nick Williams Most notable INSPIRATIONAL MALE DANCER 2008: a male dancer who has inspired you with their dancing,


Frida Segerdahl Most notable INSPIRATIONAL FEMALE DANCER 2008: a female dancer who has inspired you with their dancing.
