One thing that helped me as a DJ was getting payed. The person who payed me made me promise to use the money to buy CDs, so my collection was constantly growing.

I have only been paid once to DJ, but the next day I went and bought 3 new cds with that money. If I ever get paid again, it's going towards CDs.
