A Weekend of Swing Dancing, Jazz Music and Balboa
May 16-18, 2008
featuring Joel and Alison Plys
with special guests the Boilermaker Jazz Band w/ Naomi Uyama!

Join us for a blowout weekend of workshops and dancing. We are thrilled to have Joel and Alison back in Pittsburgh. Joel and Alison are from San Diego and tour the world teaching balboa, lindy, and more. They are excellent teachers who will really move our dancing along. Check out more about Joel and Alison at their site: http://2plyswing.com/

Joining Joel and Alison on Saturday afternoon and evening will be Pittsburgh's own Boilermakers Jazz Band. The Boilermakers have become the premier band on the East Coast and around the country for many lindy and balboa focused weekends, and we just are lucky enough to have them right here in our own backyard. We will spend two workshops with the band on Saturday afternoon exploring swing dance from the point of the musicality. http://www.boilermakerjazzband.com/
