Still need convincing? Check out what people are saying:

"I attended Beantown in 1999 and 2000. Both were pivotal times for my dancing. I spent the week immersed in dancing with amazing other dancers that I had never seen before. I met and worked with dancers from San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle and Sweden, all with their unique talents and personalities. We danced all day and all night. The combination of having a camp a manageable size like Beantown for a whole week really allowed our classes to band together and forge relationships with each other and the teachers. I'll never forget our last class with David Dalmo one week. David had put together an incredibly challenging and interesting routine and had us all perform it for one another. There was electricity in the air and by the end of the class, we were spent. Something had happened and my dancing was never the same afterward. If you've never experienced this type of thing, I recommend it. It pays off in so many ways."
Andy Reid, Washington DC

"Beantown is such a unique and rare Lindy experience. The environment is so warm and welcoming, that returning to Beantown each year seems like a bit of a family reunion. The instruction is beyond compare, with the top instructors from around the world and the tracked classes that really allow you to bond and progress with your group and the teachers. The college campus setting is comfortable and convenient, and provides a great backdrop for campers to dance or relax at their leisure; with the next dance, class, meal or party being only a few steps away."
Jennifer Coulombe, Winston-Salem, NC

Come to Beantown Camp this summer! You will be glad you did.

It's less than 2 weeks until the start of camp! Dancers are coming from 30 states and 5 countries! If you have not yet registered there is still time to do so but that time is running out.

There are multiple registration options to choose from:
  • Weekend, Friday-Sunday, June 27-29

    • Monday night add-on, June 30
  • Week, Friday-Thursday, June 27-July 3
  • Whole Shebang, Thursday-Thursday, June 26-July 3
Spaces are still available! For details check out the website at:
http://www.beantowncamp.com/

Lindy Hop Track Status
  • Track 1 - close to even
  • Track 2 - needs LEADERS! (especially for the weekend!!)
  • Track 3 - close to even
  • Track 4 - close to even
  • Track 5 - close to even
Most of the tracks currently have 1 or 2 extra followers.

Housing Availability

Single rooms are sold out in Woodside, Kennedy and Winthrop. There are still singles available in Bayview. There are a few double rooms available with AC in Kennedy and Manchester/Gloucester. Winthrop has a few spaces available but is just about filled. Bayview is the largest dorm and still has all choices of spaces available.

NELHC Competitions

For those planning to compete, it would be very helpful if you would submit your competition registrations now for all of the competitions (if you have not already done so). It will be possible to register at check-in, but the more we can get in advance, the easier it will be for us to prepare. Thanks!

Ride Share

We may have folks looking for rides so check the camp Bulletin Board:
http://www.beantowncamp.com/bulletin_board.html

Registration

If you are planning to attend and have not yet completed a registration, please do so now! The college campus provides us the perfect setting for summer camp, but we do not have the flexibility of being at a hotel venue. The college needs to plan in advance and does give us some registration restrictions.

For questions contact: info@hoptothebeat.com

We are looking forward to another awesome camp!

Aurelie & Tony
