THE SWINGSATIONS - FIRST JAZZ IN OCTOBER

Come get a jump start on your Autumn Jazz listening with Jim Ziegler's SWINGSATIONS this Sunday afternoon at the Valley Jazz Club over in Canoga Park, CA

Jim and the boys go on at 3:30 pm in the afternoon, making them the first live Jazz you are likely to hear this month (unless you get there earlier for some of the jamming among the VJC members. There's four hours of Jazz music all in all!

The Swingsations will be playing the feature set on Sunday and it runs from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm....the golden hour of Jazz as it is known in some parts. Go and find out why!

Jimmy will have all the boys in the band out there. You're welcome to sit and listen or to dance all afternoon to the sounds of Swing and Dixieland that the VJC always has on hand for it's members and guests.

The VJC is located in the Elk's Hall and they do have a bar. And you know how bars are in fraternal organizations! They pour you a goooood drink! There's food available and the parking is as bountiful (and free) as the drinks are potent.......and as the Jazz is HOT!

Jim's Swingsations tear it up all over town these days doing clubs like The Derby and the VJC, along with private parties and a bouncing round of 'music in the park' shows this past season. Swing Jazz fun for everyone.

So if you've a mind and a mind to hear some memorable 52nd Street style 30s Swing and Jazz (with a dose of Hot 20's rhythm and 40s 'in the groove' solid stuff bookending the 30s Swing for good measures), you know where you need to be this coming Sunday.

Jim will have copies of his new and previous CDs on hand for the folks, so bring some extra change with you and take home the Swing that made Irvine famous....simply because it feels good!
