Thought some of you might be interested in this...

It started with Junior Mance’s first gig for lindy hoppers. Then came John Bunch’s and Ray Bryant’s premier lindy hop event. And then, of course, The Basie Centennial Ball. Now the gang at Jelly Roll Productions and Yehoodi.com are teaming up again for another memorable first-time-for-lindy-hoppers: on August 26th, the beautiful jazz vocalist LaVerne Butler will be swingin’ the night away! LaVerne Butler’s music has been a staple in the swing community ever since her album, Blues in the City, which has the popular lindy hop tune, This Bitter Earth. Ms. Butler is a highly sought after vocalist, performing all over the world, and we are very lucky and excited that she has agreed to perform for us.
