The song is Benny's Bugle, made famous by Benny Goodman Sextet.
This had me stumped for a while because the live band doesn't play the famous opening bugle call. The original is pretty fantastic: the recording features: Benny Goodman (cl) Count Basie (p) Charlie Christian (el-g) Cootie Williams (tp) Georgie Auld (ts) Artie Bernstein (b) and Harry Jaeger (d)
And agreed that the band is pretty ace in that clip!

I realize now that I already own Buddy DeFranco's version off 'Wholly Cats'... guess it was one song from the album I hadn't paid much attention to before. The original is a beauty.
