Singers? (for the solo lyric singer, start at e.g. 5:18)
Musicians?
Composer?

Cartoon produced by Max Fleischer, directed by Dave Fleischer.
Released Sept 24, 1930.
Music not credited anywhere find-able on the internet.

We know that Fleischer Studios used Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Don Redman - and other unidentified musicians.

Thanks

At least one of their cartoons was scored by Lou Fleischer, but I find it hard to believe that the person who scored "Hot Dog" (mediocre at best, until the last minute) could have been the lead composer or band leader for "Swing You Sinners", released 6 months later.

Absolutely. I went to Sophia's a couple of times when I was last in NY and geeked out. Vince does this great thing where he comes and talks to the audience during the breaks and asks for requests. I asked for "some Lunceford", expecting them to play "'Tain't Whatcha Do" or something like that. In the next set he announces "we have a request for some Lunceford... we haven't played this one for a while..." and instructs the band to find a certain chart. They launch into a note perfect 300bpm version of "Jazznocracy".

My jaw dropped.

That's why he survives when many other vintage bands do not...and in NYC, at that~! He's always loved the music and he is a genuine person. Wish he was playing out here . We go back more than 40 years. Whew!
