[Answered] Multiple Tunes Please

#1 Post by jfoote226 » Wed Dec 05, 2012 6:46 am

From ILHC 2008 Advance Jack & Jill
Starting with the couple at 3:29. There are five couples from that time (3:29). I know the third song from that time. It is the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th songs I would like to know.
Here the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=376dSf8ClGs

Thank you in advance

#1 is Six Appeal - is that the Campus 5 version?
#2 is A Viper's Moan - sounds like Mora's Modern Rhythmists.

I think the fourth one is I've Found a New Baby, and the fifth is Baby Won't You Please Come Home. I can't pick the band on either though.

Nice set of tunes, well-chosen for the competition I think.

The last song is the slower, alternative take of Pee Wee Russell's "Baby Won't You Please Come Home" (1938). James P Johnson plays the characteristic piano intro.

It's available on the Complete H.R.S. Sessions (Mosaic Records).
