Yes, it's '[Central Avenue] Blues' from a Standard Transcription, 1944.

Nice one. I first thought of Charlie Shavers when I heard the riff. [Edit: not so strange, since it is him on trumpet... ]

You guys are ninjas! I love this game but I _never_ guess _any_ of them. I can recognise the melodies and sing along, but that's it.

i agree they are awesome, I hope that one day i will be able to help someone else out the way they have helped me these past few months...

and to end this months requests, I have this one...it says Big John special in the first seconds of the video but I dont know who the band is.

I'm pretty sure that's Benny Goodman's Big John Special, but it's not the 1938 studio version and certainly not the one from Carnegie Hall. Probably a radio transcription or something.
