It's the version recorded by Titan Hot 7.

There are several attempts at something like that. They always get buried.

Moderators, what about a forum separate from Swinging Music called "Tune Identification" or "What's that song?" or some such? There do seem to be an awful lot of these threads.

Oh, and Lorenzo is right. The track is on the 2004 album "Out of the Box". There's a good slow (113 bpm) "Davenport Blues" I sometimes play on there, too. I have never DJ'ed any of the rest, though it's fine music.

I agree with Alex. I don't mind the "Song ID" posts at all, but it would be nice to have them on section of the forum separate from the discussions on "Swinging Music", if this is not too much hassle for the administrators.

Interestingly enough a "Song Id" folder was discussed amongst the moderators back in '07. We all thought it was a good idea, but it never got created. I've brought it back up.

Done! I have created a Song IDs forum. Reuben will slowly be moving old discussions over there, and feel free to start all new identification discussions there.
