Does anybody knows what the song is playing on Herrang Dance Camp 2007 disc when Frida, Fatima and Jenny dance shim-sham?

Could you post another excerpt, maybe a bit later?
I think I can almost recognize it, but it stops just short of what I need.
It feels like some 'rag' to me, just played with a typical swing sound.

Love it - it's a got a Pop/Latin feel AND a swinging jazz groove.
No idea who it is, but could it be a small group 1960s recording?

The simple melody sounds like a nursery rhyme, like Lazy Mary or Five Little Ducks or something like that

I can hear a lot of Woody Hermans style, as in "At The Woodchoppers Ball" (Proper Records box set). I've had a bit of a search so far but not turned up the track yet.

It's the closing theme of the Pink Panther TV show in German known as "Wer hat an der Uhr gedreht?". I don't know if the US version had the same closing theme.
But I guess that's a false match.

Okay. I spoke to Fatima a couple of days ago. She said it was one of her secret tracks, so wouldn't divulge the name or band. She did say she found it on vinyl, so there could be a strong chance it has never been released on CD.
Perhaps one day, she'll give up her secret, till then keep hunting!!!!

She's still on that "secret track" kick?
Two years ago she taught a jazz routine to "Shadrack" by the Golden Gate Quartet (I think...I never found the exact version) and wouldn't tell anyone what the music was. It's rather annoying to be taught a routine and not be told what music it's set to.

I think Shadrack was from the cd Golden Gate Quartet vol.5 1945-49 (Document Records DOCD-5638). You can find it on eMusic

In my opinion, this is the most interesting among the song ID questions left open. Here is the
clip again (alternate
link). I sent this tune to a couple of friends more knowledgeable than me, but none of them could identify it.
My guess is that the song was recorded in the early 1940s (there is a hint of Boogie-woogie in the piano solo), perhaps by a white (big) band.
Does anybody here have any clues? Are the intro, or any of the solos suggesting anything?
