Can anyone identify the piece of music that starts the clip with the sax bursts over the clapping. I've heard it many times before but haven't been able to identify it. I love the energy.

Many thanks

Thanks Jesse,

I've never heard of Red Prysock before. Took a listen on Allmusic and will now seek out a copy of the relevant album.

Reuben,
I tried rigging my headset up to use the mic on it to use the midomi site but it wouldn't work. Probably my sound input is busted. Thanks for the link tho.

Cheers
Chris

Enjoy your new discovery! "Hand Clappin'" was hugely popular for jam circles for a while, especially in Los Angeles (where I most often heard it). Not sure how often it is played currently though.
